Bhastrika: Also known as “Bellows Breath,” Bhastrika is a pranayama (breathing exercise) in yoga that involves rapid, forceful inhalation and exhalation. The technique mimics the rhythmic pumping of a blacksmith’s bellows, energizing the body and mind. It is practiced to increase oxygen flow, purify the lungs, and stimulate the nervous system, bringing about vitality and mental clarity.
