Small and authentic place with variety of classes: e.g. restorative yoga class is quite relaxing, whereas yoga stretch on Sundays makes me sweat every time :) Morning classes on weekdays feel almost private, but as a drawback if you join on your own, there is some risk of a cancellation due to insufficient amount of people (with a notice on the day before). Due to the smaller class size, it makes me feel safe to practise yoga here. The studio is spacious and well maintained with various props available for the practioners. The fact that most teachers here are female also make me feel safer to practise. I like that they teach traditional hatha yoga poses . The teachers don't try to scare you with highly advanced postures, instead they will do the appropriate poses suitable for your level. I joined Ojas Yoga Studio on Joo Chiat Road three months ago and have really enjoyed my sessions there! The teachers are knowledgeable and genuinely knows what they’re doing and how to guide you through the poses, creating a practise that suit all levels. Today is my 8th class in Ojas yoga . I joined because I was suffering from severe whole lower back pain. I cannot sleep properly at night for the pain . But now almost 80% pain has gone. I can sleep well and my movements are better now . Initially I was scared to do yoga because of my pain but teacher Archana is so caring and encouraging that now I love to come to the class. Glad to have found out about and joined the Rishikesh yoga retreat organised by Ojas Yoga in March 2025. The group size was cozy, allowing us all to interact well with each other. Most of the schedule was well-planned and organized, allowing the activities to proceed smoothly. There was a good mix of activities to cater to various interests and I had a really good experience overall :)
