Teacher at Ojas yoga is very friendly and gives personal attention to each of the participants in the class. Private classes are well designed to meet individuals requirements.
As Yoga is for everyone and for all ages ,hence we have classes for kids, teens, adults or even senior citizens.

I am writing this review after giving this studio three good tries. I wanted to like it, I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Honestly, I don't understands how there are not more negative reviews though, so I think I need to say something. First of all, I want to say clearly not all of the instructors are bad. But one instructor was extremely rude to me the first time I attended. She came and adjusted me in a pose without asking first, and when I could not conform to the posture as she wanted, she actually outright called me lazy. I have never been so offended by a yoga instructor in my life. It doesn't help that the instructor herself was almost 10 minutes late to teaching her own class. That was the first negative experience, but I was willing to give it another try with a different instructor on a different day. So, I came back. Seems like lateness is a trend with this studio! Most other studios I have gone to are open at least 15 minutes before class begins, giving people time to settle in and arrive without rushing. Not so with this place. No one will be there before literally 1 minute before the class is scheduled to start. You will have to wait outside in the stuffy hall or in the heat outside. I think this is a silly way to run a yoga studio and all the other ones in the area are better. Finally, the last straw for me was when I hurt myself in one of the classes. Admittedly, that can happen in the best of classes, but it is much less likely if the instructor gives proper time to warm up, gives good cues, and watches over students for good form. This instructor did none of that. I ended up pulling something in my lower back, luckily not serious. But I have no trust in the quality of instructors here at this point, which added to the unprofessionalism noted above, means I will never be going back. I don't advice anyone else to go either, which is why I am writing this now. Save yourself the trouble and just go to one of the other excellent studios in Joo Chiat.
Gem of Joo Chiat for modern traditional/real yoga, I’ve been coming here consistently and see my progress in flexibility, strength, and mindfulness. Archana gives variations that helped me feel comfortable as a beginner and now I surprise myself being able to do intermediate poses. Regardless of the class type, it feels safe, calm, and relaxed in this space to do what I physically feel like for the day - take it easy or challenge myself, which really helps with staying disciplined and consistent to show up to class. Also love the daily affirmations at the end of each class that adds to the true essence of yoga practice. Thank you Archana - you’re amazing, Ojas is definitely not only a physical health booster but a mental health booster too!
If you are facing stress/anxiety, read on: As a Chinese male, I used to think yoga is for women. After practicing yoga at Ojas for 1 month+, my stress level is greatly reduced. I realized yoga is a fundamental approach to connect with your body and soul. A gateway to mindfulness, yoga is for everyone. I tried 6-7 studios on ClassPass and signed up for a 3 month membership here, then extended for another 1 year. I learned so much about Pranayama and improved my body flexibility a lot. Now I noticed how stiff my body was before yoga. If you are looking for a way to help yourself get back to your feet, yoga is a great pal to accompany you through your tough moments. About the studio: The class size is small which allows instructors to correct your postures individually if you are a beginner. They adjust the class pace to fit student levels. All instructors are nice, professional and passionate about yoga. They teach authentic yoga which they are knowlegeable about. My favorites are Archana, Palak, and Shefali. To the instructors: thanks and keep up the great work!
Have been attending Yoga Stretch classes with Palak for a while now, and it has been super helpful in reducing low-level tension, especially in my shoulders, back and hips area. Would highly recommend this class @ Ojas -- gives you a chance to really feel the stretch.

We are huge fans of Ojas Yoga. Both Archana and Palak are amazing practitioners who understand Yoga not in isolation but a holistic way of life. Palak has been helping my ten year old with his rhinitis through yoga specially tailored for his condition. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows her stuff well. She also has the patience to deal with children and genuinely wishes her students well. This is reflected in her sessions as well as the results.
I have been attending Ojas yoga class since March 2023 and I am extremely happy with the way their classes are scheduled and organised. I regularly attend the Sunrise Yoga classes by Roohi and it is fantastic and especially attending the early morning session and after that the whole day you feel so fresh and energetic. Thanks Roohi and I hope to continue to come to the Sunrise Yoga session on every Wednesdays.
I took personal yoga sessions with Palak and being a yoga enthusiast for a while I can confidently say that there is no match to how Palak caters to individual needs by customizing the sessions. Her in depth knowledge of what, why and how is immensely helpful to truly understand the depth of even a simple pranayam. She is so incredible that I would go back again just for her. Palak thanks so much for your efforts and reinventing my love for Yoga in a totally different perspective.
Having tried a bunch of yoga studios in the area, Ojas is by far my favourite in terms of authenticity, care and quality of instruction. I especially love Palak’s yoga stretch classes and really appreciate how she tailors the classes to the needs and limitations of the students. They’ve been a game changer in helping with tight shoulder and back muscles!
